Defective Drug: Celebrex created by Pfizer

What Is Celebrex?
Celebrex is a Cox-2 inhibitor (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) used to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or management of acute pain in adults. It is similar to Vioxx which was voluntarily withdrawn from the market in September 2004 and Bextra which was withdrawn from the market in April 2005 due to its link to increased heart attack and stroke. Recent clinical studies of Celebrex have shown that the drug can cause an increased chance for patients to suffer from heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular side effects. Celebrex has not been recalled, however, Pfizer has been urged to change the label to indicate the risks involved with the medication, including drug interactions.

What can you do if you think you have been injured by Celebrex?
The Sanders firm represents individuals and the families of individuals across America who have suffered severe injuries after use of the Celebrex. Please contact us if you or a loved one has or you suspect that they have experienced these side effects from the use of Celebrex or any other type of COX-2 drugs.
