Hear From Our Clients

John Z. Simon is a personal injury attorney at The Sanders Law Firm, whose practice is focused on motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases. He brings nearly 15 years of civil litigation experience to the representation of injured individuals and their families. As a former defense attorney, John brings insider knowledge about how claims are evaluated, defended, and negotiated, allowing him to anticipate defense strategies and advocate effectively for injured clients. Having spent years defending personal injury claims, he understands how defendants approach litigation and uses that insight to help clients pursue maximum compensation for their injuries.

Before joining The Sanders Law Firm, John was a partner at a national defense firm and served as in-house counsel at a major insurance company, providing John with a unique perspective on how insurers evaluate and defend personal injury claims. He previously represented corporate and insurance clients in motor vehicle, premises, labor law, and products liability matters throughout New York. John has extensive experience handling cases through all phases of litigation to ultimate resolution, including trial, mediation, and arbitration. John is committed to providing responsive, strategic, and results-driven representation while guiding clients through every stage of the litigation process.

John earned his Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 2012 and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University at Albany.

Outside of practicing law, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, coaching youth lacrosse, playing golf, and skiing.
