Mark R. Bernstein, Esq. is a Partner and Senior Trial Attorney with our firm. He enthusiastically represents the firm’s injured construction site workers and heavy injury accident victims. He has collected over eighty (80) million dollars on behalf of the firm’s clients and has obtained verdicts totaling in excess of ten (10) million dollars. Mr. Bernstein was associated with several insurance defense firms over the course of ten years before joining the firm. He has served as an adjunct professor of the Hofstra University School of Law Trial Techniques program and was a guest speaker for the New York State Bar Association when he lectured on “How to Prove a Plaintiff’s Case.”

Mr. Bernstein has consistently handled difficult issues during trial with successful results. In various cases tried to verdict, he was held numerous large government entities and national corporations responsible for causing injuries to our clients. He has also won large verdicts where there was only a minimal settlement offer ($1,950,000.00 vs. $0 offer; $550,000.00 verdict vs. $3,000.00 offer; $600,000.00 verdict vs. $0 offer; $650,000.00 vs. $100,000.00 offer). He has also settled multiple cases in excess of $1,000,000.00.

Outside of the legal community, Mr. Bernstein is a long distance runner, rock climber, and general outdoor enthusiast. He is a two-time “Ironman,” two-time marathon runner, and extreme obstacle course participant. He can solve Rubik’s Cube in under a minute and a half. He serves as a Youth Basketball Coach in his local community.
