Mathew Shooshtary is always on time and always ready to give 100%, no matter the task or how high pressure the situation—traits that serve him well as a medical malpractice attorney at The Sanders Law Firm.

A quick learner and a team player, Mr. Shooshtary enjoys solving problems for his clients in the complex field of medical negligence law, in which every case is uniquely demanding and requires thorough preparation. These cases are often long and difficult but also rewarding because they allow him to help people who have been seriously injured.

Mr. Shooshtary provides his clients with a smooth and transparent experience as they work through the process of receiving compensation for birth injuries, negligently performed surgeries, emergency room errors, and other types of medical malpractice claims.

After earning a law degree from Hofstra University, where he was the Head Articles Editor for the ACTEC Law Journal and responsible for overseeing the work of 25 other students, Mr. Shooshtary joined Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman (“Milberg”) as an associate medical malpractice attorney.

Before that, he served as a law clerk at Milberg and a student intern at Sanders Phillips Grossman LLC, where he assisted in drafting briefs, conducting legal research, and collaborating with attorneys on legal strategies. He also interned for a group of law firms working collaboratively on class action housing discrimination and product liability cases.

When he’s not in the office, Mr. Shooshtary enjoys working on cars, trying new restaurants, and gaming.
