Yuriy Kalant is a Senior Partner at The Sanders Law Firm who dedicates his practice to representing New York’s Uzbek community in personal injury matters.

Before joining The Sanders Law Firm in 2020, he formed his own firm, Kalant & Associates. He was also a Founding Partner at Roytblat & Kalant PLLC, where he practiced immigration law, criminal law, family law, and personal injury law. Yuriy graduated from the City University of New York School of Law and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2008. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University.

Yuriy immigrated to the United States from Uzbekistan in 1993 and has close ties to New York’s Uzbek community, which is the largest in the country. Like other immigrants, they can face language and cultural barriers that make it more difficult to resolve legal issues. Yuriy is proud to be a legal voice for the many Uzbeks who call New York home and support them in their daily lives. He has settled more than 200 cases for the local Uzbek community.
