Do we utilize expert witnesses for preparing car accident cases? I do use them for medical. So in order to have a car accident case or maintain a car accident case, you need to prove that your injuries are permanent or severe. And it’s subjective complaints of the severity of your injuries are not sufficient. You need objective findings. So in cases like those you would use your medical doctor as your expert witnesses. We also use in trip and fall cases which are not my expertise but we do use experts to write a report about the defect that caused the accident and to give their expert opinion on it.
