John Z. Simon is a personal injury attorney at The Sanders Law Firm, with more than a decade of experience in civil litigation, whose focus is practiced on motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases. As a former defense attorney, John brings insider knowledge about the tactics and strategies that insurance companies, and their attorneys, use to deny justice to personal injury victims.

John earned his law degree from Touro Law Center in 2012 and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. John attended the University at Albany as an undergraduate, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science.

Prior to joining The Sanders Firm, John was a Partner at a national defense firm and was in-house counsel at a major insurance company. He previously represented corporate and insurance clients in a wide range of cases including motor vehicle, premises and products liability matters throughout New York City and Long Island. John has extensive experience handling all phases of litigation from case inception through ultimate resolution, including trial, mediation, and arbitration. John’s background as a defense attorney allows him to better serve the firm’s client base to achieve the best results possible in every case he takes on.

When he is not in the office or courtroom, John enjoys spending time with his two children, coaching youth lacrosse, playing golf, and skiing.
