There’s one case that I’m particularly proud of that I was involved in. It was a machinist who worked for Grumman, a highly skilled machinist who made airplane parts that required the use of his hands. He was involved in a motor vehicle accident where he had his hand outside the window, and three of his fingers were severed.His career was essentially over.
He came to our office, and the case was assigned to me. I built a strong relationship with the adjuster at Allstate Insurance, and together we were able to settle the case in under six months for the maximum recovery available, which was $1.1 million.I know that I helped him for the rest of his life, and it’s cases like that that make me want to be part of this profession.
