The most satisfaction I had early in my career came from representing a victim, a woman who drove into a swimming pool and became a quadriplegic. Initially, when she made a claim, the insurance company, in order to avoid providing a van to help her get around in her wheelchair, blamed her for the incident. After obtaining footage of the party she had been at, we were able to determine that the markings were insufficient.
