Our client, a 45-year old woman, was shopping at JC Penney at the Roosevelt Field Mall and fell on a 1 inch raised tile floor in the woman’s department. She required a total knee replacement. We were able to achieve this significant settlement by hiring an engineer and showing how this accident could have been avoided by use of a rubber molding to make a ramp type of joint.
The settlement was achieved by senior partner E. David Woycik Jr, attorney Matt Kittrell, and senior paralegal Katie Ramos.
