Taxi Driver Receives Payout More than Four Times Original Offer

Our client in this case was a 50-year old cab driver involved in a sideswipe collision. He underwent an arthroscopic left shoulder surgery to repair a tear. Initially, there was a $40,000 offer based on the defendant’s claim that our client merged into their lane and caused the accident. However, when we deposed the defendant he admitted that he was in the process of exiting a parking spot when he struck the plaintiff’s vehicle, causing the accident.
